Campus garden and grounds oversight

-Management of private estate garden, elaborately landscaped with unique and rare plants. Direct report employee and sub-contractor oversight in alignment with garden design objectives and client expectations. Development of seasonal tree, shrub, and turf care program. Development of IPM program with a focus on sustainability and soil health. Responsible for planning and management of complex project work. Central-control irrigation system management. • Responsible for the comprehensive management of maintenance services for a master planned community of 1,522 homes (front yard landscape and irrigation), ~500 acres natural open space, ~350 acres manicured areas: trails, primary forest trees, parks, irrigation systems incl. central control system, right-of-way plantings, storm water facilities, water features, and parking facilities. • Executed accurate budget planning, preparation, and implementation. Developed RFP’s for all major projects, managed routine work and special projects in accordance with state laws, governing documents, and community-wide standards. Developed 5 and 10-year capital improvement plans and reserve study. • Liaison to committees; aligning goals and actions with fiduciary duty and the governing documents. Interfaced daily with community members, staff, and contractors in a professional manner and in accordance with strategic objectives. Composed weekly community newsletter and monthly board report. • Ardently pursued the use of Integrated Pest Management and sustainable landscape practices. Collaborated with SPU on published case study for sustainable lawn care practices.

Maintenance, irrigation, and project work oversight for clients at Reedy Creek Improvement District and Walt Disney World co. Planned, designed, and implemented maintenance of traffic daily to facilitate routine and project work for the branch.
