Christopher StreeterMr. Streeter is appointed as a Supervisor for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA Los Angeles Regional Office (LARO) has appointed Mr. Streeter oversight of LARO Military Service Coordinators, Congressional Analysts, and Legal Administrative Specialists on July 5, 2020. LARO Military Service Coordinators, in the Community, manage the operations and planning of the six military bases (Twentynine Palms Marine Base, Fort Irwin National Training Center, Port Hueneme Navy Base, Vandenberg Air Force Base, China Lake Naval Base, and Edwards Air Force Base) and their respective community-based compensation services across the entire county and 19,000 square miles of the Greater Los Angeles and lower Central Coast regions of California. LARO Congressional Analysts in the Community manage the operations and planning of the LARO by consistently furnishing professional, complete and meaningful responses to congressional and other inquiries in order to maintain an acceptable workload and accomplish VA's mission. LARO Legal Administrative Specialists in the community manage the operations and planning of verbal and/or written information to veterans, constituent caseworkers and other customers when responding to their inquiries.Prior to joining the VA, Mr. Streeter served in several positions in various agencies within the Superior Court jurisdiction and Department of the Army as well as private sectors of legal application. Mr. Streeter also served with the California Department of Veterans Affairs as a State power of attorney in representing veteran claims. Mr. Streeter is a U.S. Army Veteran. In 2003, Mr. Streeter was honorably released from Army Service wherein he carried a rank of Sergeant, with 6 years of service, of which he served on active duty.Mr. Streeter attended: New Testament Christian Church College, South Puget Sound College, B.S. in Criminal Justice; Westwood College B.S. in Criminal Justice; and Southern California Institute of Law, J.D. in law. He has served a tour in Iraq as a contractor with Kellogg Brown and Root. His awards include the Military Good Conduct Medal; Secretary of Treasurer’s Notary Public of the term; Alpha Beta Kappa Honor society; Ventura Center for Dispute Settlement, County of Ventura Mediator certificate of award; Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude; and Juris Doctorate Valedictorian.
