CurrentCHRIS STREIT, Managing DirectorMr. Streit joined CGA in 2015 where he introduces CGA’s investment manager clients to a select group of institutional and high net worth investors. Since the early 1980’s, Mr. Streit’s focus has been on the design, packaging, development, and marketing of alternative investments. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1969 and eventually participated in establishing Merrill Lynch’s Fund of CTA Funds business. In 1985, Mr. Streit joined Bridgewater Associates’ and alongside Ray Dalio, established and placed Bridgewater’s first two alternative investment funds. Subsequent to this, he founded MIT Asset Management a CTA/CPO and MIT Associates, an independent registered Introducing Broker which structured and marketed alternative investment vehicles to institutional investors and high net worth investors. Mr. Streit sold his interest in MIT, after 20+ years, to the remaining partners in mid-2006. During the past 15 years Mr. Streit and the companies to which he has been affiliated with raised several billion dollars in alternative investment product. Mr. Streit received a BA in Economics Curry College.
