I became a registered massage therapist (RMT) in 2010, but before this, I explored courses at Wilfred Laurier University within their Religion and Culture, Philosophy, and Psychology departments. I believe health is a dynamic process; you can't just rely on one area of your life to be healthy. An individual's overall health can only be accomplished through a combination of good nutrition, exercise, adequate sleep, regular maintenance through manual therapy and, what Carl Jung called, "individuation" or knowing yourself fully, which Chris is seeking to achieve through mindful meditation.I believe the success of my treatments lay in offering a variety of modalities that can be incorporated into each client's personalized treatment plan such as massage, contemporary acupuncture, ultrasound therapy, and Micropoint Simulation therapy (MPS).
Listed skills include Alternative Medicine, Chronic Pain, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Deep Tissue Massage, and 14 others.
