As of 11th November 2013 the software department of 10 Squared was separated to a sister company called Self Service Technology to allow both the core business and software arm to chase separate projects without conflict of interest.Self Service Technology initially consisted of two team members.And has produced some great kiosk based software along with some more bespoke self service software for advertising.One of our biggest successes was our bus stop vending machine which was used in the Walkers Do Us A Flavor advertisement campaign allowing users to tweet for a free packet of crisps. Self Service Technology in partnership with 10 Squared and Clear Channel UK produced the middle-ware capable of talking between the screen display front end and the 10 Squared produced hardware in order to make this part of the campaign possible.We have many self service kiosk running our software in nurseries, hospitals, schools, colleges and universities up and down the country.

Starting on the 16th April 2012 I will be working for 10 Squared as a Software Developer. The company design, manufacture and support a range of products including Information Points and Digital Billboards.

Part Time Job at a Sainsburys Local

I studied towards a MEng degree in Computer Software Development as part of this course I will have a placement at Seed Software, University of Hull owned software company. I am part of the research team looking into Integrated Communication and Control Systems based on Office Communications Server 2007. I will also be project manager from December to March.
