As an Assistant Customer Service Manager you are in charge of the day to day operations of the front end of the store. Morning duties included but not limited to accounting and bookkeeping, preparing deposits for the store, monitoring duties of your cashiers, baggers and front office staff. In charge of creating weekly schedules based of the amount of hours given (scheduling of forty or more employees). Providing exceptional customer service at all times of the day and coaching the staff on the importance. Investigating cash shortages as well as overrides, and improper check handling. Coaching the staff on services we offer such as Western Union, money orders, bill pay, check cashing, 123 Rewards visa cards along with gift cards and prepaid cards. Able to handle complaints and compliments. Also involved with reviews and disciplinary actions such as verbal warnings to correctives .
