I have 2 bachelors degrees from MIT in mathematics and chemistry. I acquired a Masters in chemistry from UC Berkeley and have qualified for Ph. D. candidacy. I finished a Ph. D. in Materials Science and Engineering. I did my postdoc at Sandia National Labs doing thin film semiconductor growth. I am now seeking to transition into quantitative finance or data science to utilize my skills as a technical researcher.As demonstrated by my academic career, I am highly effective at acquiring new knowledge quickly and have developed a diverse set of analytical problem solving skills. For example, I started in a new field for my second graduate school and managed to get up to speed fast enough to be the first to publish in my cohort. I also thrive in intellectually challenging and stimulating environments as shown by being able to handle the heavy course load of getting 2 degrees at MIT and beginning a Ph. D. program in a new field while achieving the first to publish in my cohort. I look forward to continuing to work in a dynamic learning environment where I can satisfy my intellectual curiosity and continue to develop as a problem solver.
