I am a lawyer and a registered trademark agent, with a primary focus on intellectual property litigation, including proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. In addition to this, I have litigated commercial and construction cases, as well as proceedings for the enforcement of foreign judgments and court orders. I have appeared as counsel before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court (including the Commercial List) and the Trademarks Opposition Board.In addition, I provide strategic advice to my clients on matters relating to intellectual property and business development, including guidance on developing products, relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and other business partners, while protecting their interests in commercial transactions, including technology transfer, license and supply agreements.My clients include pharmaceutical companies (both innovator and generic) and manufacturers of consumer goods, including in the tool and hardware industries, and I am able to work with my clients in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.
