As a Project Manager, provide overall management direction to multiple projects and monitor construction and the financial activities of those projects. Manage each project with the goal of completing it on schedule and within the estimated budget. Keep accurate record of project documents, cost and schedule using software systems such as ViewPoint, BlueBeam, Timberline Estimating, Suretrak CPM Scheduling, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel. Oversee project managers and estimators as we maintain contracts and pursue new business exclusively with contractors providing products and services to Departments of Transportation and infrastructure companies. Work with estimating team to acquire necessary skill sets and develop relationships with subcontractors. Attend pre-bid meetings to become informed of each project’s scope of work in order to provide the owners with a complete bid package. Prepare estimates for public and private entities using the capabilities of Timberline Estimating Software, Streamliner, On Screen Takeoff, HeavyBid, Pay Dirt and Microsoft Excel. Assist in daily operational tasks of the Company such as man power scheduling, equipment scheduling and daily reporting. Work closely with the Vice President of Operations to become familiar with day to day tasks.
