At the City of Torrance Plunge Municipal Pool, I worked as an aquatics instructor and a lifeguard. As an aquatics instructor, I was in charge of teaching people as young as four years old to as old as sixty years old how to swim. I accomplished this by managing lesson plans and organizing progress sheets, as well as teaching my students how to have fun and be comfortable around the water. As a lifeguard, I was responsible for the safety of all pool patrons on deck or in the water.
