Contract position for Mid-States TechnicalGenerated and finalized the manufacturing documentation package for Pilot Build Hand-off of a prototype corn harvester test platform.In-depth review of designs prior to manufacturing release for issues with design, functionality and manufacturing using SolidWorks 2013. This review reduced the overall number of issues by 25%.Generated general build instructions (GBI) for both prototype harvesters. Created procedure for build issue tracking and resolution. Managed the incorporation of all changes encountered during first build cycle for implementation on second harvester prototype.

Architected the build of two prototype 2.3MW wind turbines with an emphasis towards a lean manufacturing environment.Selected to lead multi-state design and implementation team of engineers/manufacturing personnel on the build of a 4.4 million dollar 2.3MW wind turbine. Implemented company-wide concurrent engineering practices utilized during prototype build effort. Both Prototypes are installed and operating within established functional and availability guidelines. Outlined, generated, and created a procedure for general build instruction (GBI) creation. Level of detail enabled the build to proceed without out of state engineering representation on production floor.

Designed, build, and integration of the power controller and interconnect sub-systems for the $250,000 dollar NW100 100 kilowatt wind turbine. Adapted the power controller to operate in extreme cold conditions to minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Conceptualized and developed the power controller that met both UL (Underwriter Laboratory) and CE (Conformité Européenne) certification.
