I am passionate about ensuring Higher Education remains engaging for all audiences, from supportive environments to welcoming inductions. Having studied both my MA Applied Humanities and BA (Hons) in Applied Humanities before becoming a Visiting Lecturer in Foundation Year Programmes (all at Newman University, Birmingham), I have a wealth of unique experience of University journeys, from beginning to end which I look forward to passing on to other individuals.My studies have given me a keen interest in the Humanities and their relevance for the future, particularly the environmental issues facing our generation and how the humanities can apply themselves to this situation to make a positive difference.I look forward to continuing networking within the sector, sharing successes and building strong plans for the future.I have a passion for the environment and Heritage preservation, which is furthered in my voluntary work at the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and Hartlebury Castle.I also have previous experience as a Senior Sales Executive in the horticulture sector.
