Chris is a Civil Engineer with three years land development consulting engineering experience. He is currently working on several land development projects across the Gold Coast and Logan, dealing directly with clients, council and contractors in a project engineer / contract administration roll.Chris is developing a sound understanding of the land development process, completing projects from preliminary estimates through to asset delivery and handover. He is now close to sealing over of $5 million dollars of development in a leading roll, chairing construction meetings, negotiating with council officers and coordinating with senior management, design and drafting teams to deliver projects. He has been in a supporting roll on multiple estates, completing applications and engineering reports, claims and variation assessments, site inspections and rectification instructions, service location lodgements and as constructed submissions.Whilst working in consulting, Chris finished an Honours degree in civil engineer at Griffith University. He also completed the Griffith Leadership Program, was an Engineering Mentor, received a Griffith University Award for Academic Excellence and was the president of the Griffith University Club of the Year - the Outdoor Adventure Club.Prior to working in consulting, Chris worked in concrete construction for over eight years and developed a strong understanding of construction principles and practice. Whilst work on some of the largest civil infrastructure projects in South East Queensland and Australia, Chris has obtained several high-risk including 60t Slewing Crane (C6), Rigging (RB), and Scaffolding (SB), and used these, along side steel fixing, concrete placement and form working skills to work in a variety of roles from the ground up. As Chris is focusing on developing professional skills, he looks forward to completing his next goal of becoming a chartered professional engineer.
