Within this role my work consists of Looking after all the Mechanical Spares for the Hot Rolled Products area of tata steel strip products, taking care of the refurbishment of the spares and keeping track of the stock, dealing with supplier issues with things like technical drawings working closely with suppliers making sure they are producing competitive quotes and being involved in the step by step process of the refurbishment management process. High percentage of my working day is spent using the SAP system looking at technical drawings and also dealing with any issues regarding spares .Also have good experience at MRP stock replenishment as that comes under a big part of my current role .

Service Team- Hot Mill

Looking after all the oil systems throughout Hot Rolled Products, including pipework repairs and any leaks that occured on a weekly/daily basis.

Working in the Hot Mill on the craft Maintenance team solving engineering problems on the mill and preparing for downshifts on a monthly basis.Completing daily checks and feeding back into Sap .Also on call for any emergencies that occur on a daily basis that need a quick response due to the cost to the business for downtime .
