At SERGEOMIN my role involved conducting the environment department's water quality monitoring and treatment programme for the Santa Rita mine in Oruro. My specific duties included on site monitoring, sampling and laboratory analysis of surface and subsurface acidic mine waters.

My role at Chandala involved executing the dust monitoring programme for the processing site. Routine analysis of dust samples within the site's laboratory as well as miscellaneous environmental management tasks, including collection of ground water samples from the site's borefield, and remediation spraying of offsite areas suspected of dieback.
