Lead and managed the planning and implementation of company wide information systems and projects. Acted as an expert consultant in information technology strategies to internal departments and client teams throughout the organization. Negotiated information systems contracts with vendors to ensure efficient and effective use of financial resources. Developed and implemented company-wide security strategies. Managed vendor relationships including Microsoft, Dell and Column IT among others.Key Results: Operated as Service Owner for ITSM and in that role established the processes for service continuity for two of the main Urban Science product lines. Introduced Live Communication Server to the organization and managed the integration of its current edition OCS with Cisco VOIP phone system and Exchange Voicemail. Combined with the introduction of OCS Live Meeting, the solution saves well over $100,000 per year and fosters increased collaboration throughout the company. Managed implementation of the Global Navision financials application including integration with 3rd party SaaS (Software as a Service) Time and Expense reporting, with successful implementation in over 15 countries across the globe.  Implementation of global CRM system, MS CRM 4.0. Responsibilities included vendor recommendation, installation/implementation and automation of client software installation. Leveraging existing Microsoft contracts allowed for $75,000 in annual savings. Lead the Global Team responsible for desktop deployment and software distribution. Managed the replacement of Ghost software with Microsoft System Center which automated both operating system and software deployment throughout the enterprise. This resulted in cost reduction for the organization and a 50% reduction in time to deploy.

Key Results: Managed the implementation of the first company-wide portal; current SharePoint solution saving 50K per year over previous solutions and resulting in a 2 month project payback. Managed the integration of two separate acquisitions into the global Active Directory infrastructure, on time, with zero service disruptions, and within budget.  Lead the implementation of the first VOIP phone system saving the company on infrastructure and phone expenses.  Introduced Certificate based VPN connectivity reducing the complexity and cost of token based VPN. Recommended, planned and implemented a Citrix/Terminal Server solution which resulted in increased productivity and cost reduction saving $80,000 annually for a Business Process Outsourcing contract with client. Successfully implemented the 1st enterprise service request system, including support for individual team SLAs. In conjunction with developing support policies and procedures that continue to be the benchmark utilized today.

Key Results:  Recommended and established the first Microsoft Enterprise Agreement which resulted in over $100,000 in savings in the first contract and allowed for a reduction in time monitoring license compliance for Microsoft Products.  Planned and implemented the Citrix infrastructure to host the Navision financial system. This included the global deployment of the Citrix client in all locations for access to the financial system. Managed Detroit office server infrastructure including, Dell PowerEdge servers, Powervault direct attached storage devices and tape libraries. Responsible for server build standards and Detroit backup infrastructure using VERITAS Backup Exec. Planned and implemented Active Directory Group Policy based software deployment which automated the installation of software to corporate computers. The project resulted in efficiency gains and was done with no additional cost to the organization.  Successfully planned and implemented Global migration to Windows Active Directory from NT 4.0 based domain. Project resulted in zero down time and simplified the organizational structure with the reduction in unnecessary domains.
