I attend the University of North Texas as a sophomore with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. I intend to graduate from the University of North Texas in 2018 and attend graduate school to pursue my doctorates degree in medicine. I have completed numerous courses within my major, as well as my minor. I plan to work toward obtaining a profession in cosmetic surgery. I would like to acquire an internship that provides me with experience in the medical field so that I may begin acquiring necessary skills. My current job as a front desk hotel clerk has allowed to me learn professional and responsible skills that I can utilize in numerous workplace environments.I earned a position on the dean's list for the College of Arts and Sciences with an overall GPA of 3.625 in my first year. I have received numerous invitations to honor societies and academic fraternities. My experience at college has taught me to appreciate the benefits of an education. I now approach all opportunities with a positive and prepared mindset. This has allowed me to tackle numerous obstacles in education and work. I believe that a person’s work ethic determines how successful they may become. I live by this belief and apply my full effort no matter the situation. I would best describe myself as an adaptive and ambitious individual that works well with others. My ambition pushes me to pursue goals that pose a challenge. I cooperate well with others and put forward my full effort in group scenarios. I also perform just as exceptional when completing the task by myself. My attentiveness gives me the ability to notice mistakes not regularly noticed. I enjoy handling new and difficult projects that test my knowledge. I know that by acquiring an internship it would further my knowledge and interest in the medical field.
