Directed a diverse workforce of 72 authorized personnel and ensured efficient use of port facilities and resources with specific responsibilities for health, safety and security. Ensured managing all vessel loading, discharge, handling safety, supervising staff, and liaising with customers and other port users to achieve on time contracted requirements. Also, worked in close contact with a range of industry groups, such as customs and quarantine, stevedores and shipping lines.­ - Shaping Policy: Communicates to internal and external staff on policy changes and effectively implementing those policies ranging from budget, work schedules, customer interaction, sub-contractors, etc. to achieve daily operations.­ - Standardizing Operations: Implemented and facilitated daily operations meetings directly impacting a 72-person work force. Ensures an efficient supply plan supports production for Boeing Commercial Aircraft. Works daily on an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) which links the supply chain from the supplier to the customer for constant visibility in real time. ­ - Shaping Policy: Communicates to the suppliers on all engineering changes on various parts. Monitor all modes of transportation to make sure shipping plans are solid.­ - Standardizing Operations: Processes purchase orders through ERP for Boeing Commercial Aircraft, and ensures Boeing receives the best quality parts, at the lowest possible price and ensures delivery at the right time. Monitors all nonconforming parts within numerous computer systems until a workable solution is reached. Provides lateral support to Boeing in a timely manner which greatly enhances production. ­ - Strategic Planning: Monitors all grief transactions through ERP and Order Manager that may arise from the supplier. Works directly with suppliers, as well as the customers to provide outstanding customer service. Forecast parts with the supplier to support future demand.­ - Program Management: Conducts weekly status meetings with suppliers in order to ensure some production flow, identify potential shortfalls and ensure parts are compliant with current engineering. Ensures the supplier is following preventive maintenance schedules on all production machines. ­ - Problem Solving: Monitors, as well as grade, supplier performance to ensure suppliers are performing within the terms of the contract. Facilitates workshops with suppliers in order to stream line engineering processes which drives down costs for the company.

Directed 6 managers who led team of 21 inspectors that traveled among 56 organizations with 30K employees. Assessed efficiency, economy and compliance of headquarters-level organizations. Identified deficiencies in policy, procedure or training programs and recommended opportunities for improvement that ensured compliance with instructions (AFIs) and regulations including Secretary of the Air Force and Inspector General (SAF/IG) directives.

Developed and implemented strategic logistics plans that impacted 40K personnel who supported Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine operations. Forecasted resources and directed the transportation of supplies critical to completion of both war and peace time operations in 17 countries across the Middle East. Led or directly impacted logistics planning efforts to meet objectives directly from the President of the United States. ­- Logistics Planning: Developed multinational logistics, prepositioning plans, programs and policies for an average of 34 annual training events of varying scope. Gathered requirements from key stakeholders, forecasted required resources, sourced available equipment and supplies and planned transportation.­- Logistics Expertise: Served as CENTCOM’s go-to subject matter expert (SME) on logistics and transportation methods; recognized as critical logistics planner for synchronizing movement of critical assets. ­- Transportation Planning: Planned and coordinated the international transportation of 17K personnel and 3K+ shipping containers of supplies, equipment and vehicles within a 12-month period as directed by the President of the United States during the Afghanistan draw down.

Directed team of 350 logistics personnel that provided 24/7 fuel, logistics plans, supply, transportation and operational support for operations in Central Asian states through the Kyrgyz Republic and at Minot AFB in ND. Managed a fleet of 400-1,000 vehicles valued at $38-80M and the command’s largest 4.6M gallon fuel storage facility. Efficiently managed $740M fuel program resources and forecasted and allocated $844K operations budget.­- Supply Chain Management: Supervised the supply chain management of 21K standard supply line items at Minot AF valued at $761M. Managed the 100% accountability and continuous inventory control of Minot AFB’s supply inventory that included 3,000+ sensitive items and nuclear readiness material line items valued at $2M. Ensured the logistics team was in compliance with strict regulations, policies and procedures.­- Inventory Control: Analyzed supply chain indicators to evaluate timeliness of deliveries and identify out-of-stock causes; preventively ordered parts and supplies based upon prior indicators.­- Metrics Analysis: Conducted analysis of monthly reports and evaluated KPIs such as productivity, safety incidents and inventory shortages to proactively identify problems and detect inefficient operations or regulatory non-compliance. Recommended and implemented training, policy or procedural improvements. ­- Transportation Coordination: Directed the largest movement of combat forces through Manas - 601,000 people in 2011 and 19,000+ in a single week. ­- Safety Management: Ensured all safety regulations were enforced such as OSHA, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and MSDS postings to avoid workplace injuries or incidents. Responded to spills and conducted root cause analyses of safety incidents. Recommended new or modified policy and procedure that mitigated incidents.

Directly supported the executive leadership of 465-person organization that managed the receiving and distribution of $700M of materials, supplies, parts and bulk fuel inventory. ­- Warehouse Management: Oversaw 5M+ square foot warehouse facility with 18K+ line items valued at $70M+. Maintained 97%+ inventory accuracy rate, reviewed inventory reports, identified root cause of any inventory shortages and introduced standardized procedures and policies to maintain accurate inventory levels. ­- Safety Program Management: Drove first-rate safety program that included warehouse shop keeping and OSHA safety compliance. Mitigated risk and prevented injury. Ensured the team complied with all operating instructions, policies and regulations – reduced annual inspection non-compliance findings by 40% in first year.­- Transportation Management: Planned, coordinated and executed the cost-effective and timely shipping and transportation of $24M in cargo and personal property shipments that supported the organization’s 10,000 personnel.
