As a senior OMS consultant, I have worked on a number of projects for several different clients, both in the public and private sector. OMS provides a wide variety of consulting services tailored to our client's specific needs. I have had the opportunity to lead several projects, as well as provide training as a lead facilitator. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of both applied and academic projects within the Department of Business. Currently, I am involved in two projects, both focusing on leadership within the Canadian agricultural industry. Specifically, I will be examining supervisory training and the effect of gender on leadership within this sector. I have also worked on conducting a literature review and designing a study to investigate status within organizations. Lastly, I was involved in a training/research project focusing on rural youth in Ontario and job search techniques.

For the past year, I have been involved with my PhD supervisor conducting a diary study examining work-life balance and possible interventions to ameliorate the deleterious effects of work stress on individuals. This project involves conducting training with participants, data collection and management, and survey design and administration.
