As a managing scientist at Anchor QEA, a leading environmental and engineering consulting firm, I apply my 20+ years of experience as a captain and a research vessel operator to deliver high-quality solutions for aquatic ecosystems and habitats. I specialize in acoustic telemetry, water science data collection, and restoration projects, and I have led and supported multiple initiatives to understand and protect coastal and marine environments.I hold a 100 Ton Near-Coastal Captain’s License issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, and I am an expert Watercraft Safety Instructor and a Professional Mariner. I own and operate the Research Vessel June Rise for Confluence Marine, my Disabled Veteran Owned Business (DVOB). I am passionate about the environment and in applying my expertise and energy towards supporting scientific and clean water related efforts.
