I am a Partner in the Business Trial Practice Group and Food and Beverage Industry Team in the San Francisco office of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, LLP. I counsel and represent food companies in regulatory and litigation matters involving false advertising and consumer class action matters, as well as issues involving supply chain liability, labeling reviews, food borne pathogens, and "organic," "healthy" and nutrient content claims, to name a few. I also counsel companies regarding federal, state, local regulatory compliance, labeling issues, and supply chain liability in the CBD/cannabis space. Prior to joining SheppardMullin, I was a partner at Keller and Heckman, LLP, and before that, was an in-house counsel for an affiliated group of food companies such as FIJI Water, POM Wonderful pomegranate juice, Paramount Citrus, and Wonderful Brands pistachios and almonds. My work included food and false advertising litigation, distribution and trademark disputes, bodily injury, class actions, insurance coverage work, and general commercial arbitration and litigation matters.
