My research revolves around computational biology, with specific interests in single-cell RNA-sequencing analysis, cancer biology, clonal hematopoiesis, and machine learning.Thesis: Guiding cell type identification in single-cell RNA-sequencing analysis with rank based metrics. Advisors: Dr. Daniel Herranz, Dr. Hossein Khiabanian• Evaluate rank-based metrics for refining unsupervised clustering based on differentially expressed genes in single-cell RNA sequencing analysis• Investigate the role of mutated blood cells, known as clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential, or CHIP, in the solid tumor microenvironment

• Evaluated and developed a plate assay for quantifying polysorbate-80 concentration

• Compiled sources of text data for training natural language processing (NLP) models• Implemented a data pipeline for predictive modelling on Google Cloud Platform • Designed a user profile scoring system based on heuristics on published articles and their authors’ subject matter expertise

• Delivered technology solutions for data engineering to clients in industry and government• Served as a lead data engineering developer in a platform migration project, developing ETL pipelines to migrate database systems from Oracle-based infrastructure to a PySpark/AWS environment
