Served as an armed security guard to detect and prevent theft, damage, accident, trespass, sabotage and espionage and to enforce the security regulations of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Served and protected life and property at the United States Military Academy at West Point from any weapon of mass destruction, terrorists and terrorism, apprehension of violators of laws, preservation of the peace, security of the installation and the protection of civil rights of individuals through law enforcement. Duties included security of foreign diplomats, security of members of the United States Presidential Party during visits to include Secretary of Defense Robert Gates on multiple occasions, Former Vice President Cheney, former President George W. Bush; traffic control; investigation of traffic accidents and report preparation; traffic patrol duties (to include use of radar); issuance of citations; investigations of all criminal activity to include terrorist activities, thefts, assaults, and security checks such as badges, decals, inspection decals, of persons entering the installation. Responded to emergency and routine calls, which involved dangerous personnel, felons, persons suspected of potential terror activity. Worked alongside with officers of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, where I enforced all fishing and gaming laws on the West Point Reservation. Traveled by vehicle and foot to observe persons engaging in taking fish and game in a lawful matter by using authorized equipment and methods. Seized equipment used in fish and game law violations. Investigated reports of fish and game law violations and issued warnings or citations to violators.

Participated in various training exercises to prepare for an upcoming deployment to Iraq. Training exercises included field exercises, weapons qualifications and training, combative training. Training was conducted on a daily basis on the weekday and sometimes on the weekend. Physical Training such as muscle endurance and cardiovascular exercises were conducted on a daily basis on the weekday to stay physically fit.
