Linux Cloud Systems Administrator
CurrentManaging and maintaining the cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of the systems. This involves deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based systems in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and OpenStack, as well as automating tasks and supporting development teams.Key Responsibilities: • Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OpenStack). • Monitor system performance, availability, and security. • Automate system tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (Rancher, Ansible). • Implement and manage cloud-based services and applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages. • Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments. • Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested. • Maintain system documentation and conduct regular security assessments.Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or similar role. • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL). • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenStack). • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python). • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Rancher, Ansible). • Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
