At University Preparatory Academy Middle School (UPAMS), I am an educator, floor lead, and content lead. In these roles, I plan, coordinate, and deliver instruction to five classes per day, oversee and manage operations on a floor of roughly 150 students, and supervise on average twelve teachers. My tact, determination, organization, planning, and a team-first ideology assist me in effectively assisting students and staff in order to accommodate the wants and needs of everyone. In my roles, I also facilitate grade-level meetings based on specific data sets focused on student growth and development. Grade-level meetings are utilized to plan and organize grade-level initiatives, coordinate ongoing grade-level competitions, address the wants and needs of staff and students, and co-create student-centered instructional plans. As grade level lead, I also plan and facilitate content-specific meetings. Content-specific meetings are in place for continual analysis of student data, discussions focused on present and future instructional trends, and the creation of standards-driven, student-centered instructional materials based on data analytics. Furthermore, for three consecutive years, I received a "highly effective" educator effectiveness rating from UPAMS and the Michigan Department of Education (2021 – 2024).
