Technical Team Member
CurrentI work for The Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) as a home-based technician. I handle the creation, review, and re-creation of workloads for physical workload crews. My reviews decide whether or not attendance and work on sites has resulted in the correction of meter and site issues. If they have succesfully completed work, sites get marked as "Complete-OK", but if they are not succesful then work is passed on to other crews, reattendance by alternate crews, or passed to more able-bodied crews with additional resources to ensure problems are alleviated quickly, efficiently, and with satisfaction to our clients. Our clients include residents nearby, cities and townships, and government entities such as the EA (Environmental Agency) and even our own fellow water agencies (other branches of NWL). I compile lists of completed and uncompleted workloads to ensure that the company that works alongside us is financially compensated for their workloads, along with making sure the products they provide to us are not faulty and have a high-success rate. This also ensures they follow an intelligent route of repair by attending sites throughout the week that are in a reasonable path. An outstanding issue of 4 weeks or more is added to a weekly review session where each site is individually checked by members of NWG to ensure no accidental overflows occur. These are addressed as urgent sites and have 2 meetings a week to discuss what specialities can be granted and governed to assist in attendance for our assistance crews. As you can see, my work involves collating and collaboration with many people and companies, from specialists in our own company, to managers and employees of fellow companies, to letters addressed from companies, professors, researchers, and concerned customers.
