Find on FB & Youtube, full name. A native of Cymru / Wales, UK, of a Scottish mother, after attending Dean Close School in Cheltenham, I qualified as a chartered accountant in 1965, in Cardiff. Leaving Britain, I started writing songs in my early 20s when "travelling" around Western Europe, and continue today. Back in Britain, my public prose writing began with comment on current affairs with the UK monthly paper The Rising Tide, expanding to include music & film reviews with The New Tomorrow magazine. While later working in Los Angeles, I wrote and edited a 60 page educational booklet to accompany the film INCHON - about Gen. McArthur and the Korean War, starring Laurence Olivier and many others, and after moving to Amsterdam I organized business conferences with IIR (Institute for International Research). I also wrote regularly for The New York Herald Tribune, The World & I and occasionally for The Washington Times and London Independent.In recent years, I have focused mainly on own writing - see FB page Breakwater - freelance projects and developing Chris Cross Communications with Chris Cross News & Chris Cross Nieuws, also The Taliesin Foundation - all on FB.In the future, I intend to develop the projects mentioned below. I will also invest more time and energy in "bardic performances" of my own - and others' - songs & poems & stories.
