Whilst being a highly experienced manager in the pub and restaurant sectors, my vision is to help every establishment reach its potential. As a people’s person, I love to collaborate and network, placing staff and customers at the heart of all business decisions. And although not a business ‘guru’. I have a proven history of positively impacting on customer service scores, cost control measures, and achieving budgeted profits. As an expert of customer service delivery and catering management, I thrive on implementing new ideas that suit the business models and objectives. I draw upon over 20 years of leadership experience from establishments such as restaurants, bars, cruises, and entertainment venues. This includes taking over transitional periods of outlets and maximizing both their appealability to buyers and revenue generation. Being a proactive Manager, I love to keep up with the latest trends, involving staff to brainstorm, and strategically plan decisions that move the business forward. To summarise, some of my career highlights to date include: Ø Championing customer service management for one of the largest Weatherspoon chains consisting of two floors and 100 tables. Ø Taking accountability for the running of four pubs and a nightclub with direct reporting from six managers. Ø Steering gross profits for the bar section of a pub from £4k to £7k within three months of employment by executing on a new vision for the premises. Ø Various achievements in my current role with impactful savings on waste, with improvements to customer service and gross profit margins.
