Commercial Lines Underwriter
Current- Utilize understanding of assessing risk and exposures to identify business opportunities to maximize assigned territory loss ratio and growth objectives.- New business development, renewal retention and overall profitability of assigned territory.- Travel to assigned agencies to build on agency partnerships and promote/negotiate higher agency ranking position.- Build and maintain strong agency relationships with the goal of increasing an agency’s book of business and/or profitability.- Serve as a mentor providing technical support, training and problem solving for other underwriters on an ongoing basis.
