On this project my role was to review and quality check cases where customers had previously been litigated and had their homes repossessed due to being in arrears. This was to make sure the bank had correctly completed the litigation process and treat the customer fairly. The role included reviewing all customer interaction and notes, listening to calls between the customer and bank, making sure the bank had taken any vulnerability triggers into account and that the correct correspondence had been sent to the customer in a timely manor.

Working on the National Australian Group project I was part of a busy, high pressured, target driven, data gathering team. It was my duty to gather all information/data and past paperwork, to work out what policies (loans, mortgages, credit cards etc) were within the scope of the PPI complaint. I then produced all of the data required for the review team to continue the process to close the case. Even though this was a demanding and crucial process, I actually enjoyed the challenge. For the last 6 months of the project I was chosen to be part of a 40 person team who had the best quality out of all data gatherers. This team was dedicated to 'post closer' checking. This process was where we checked the case had been work correctly from both the data gathering side and the review side. I was therefore trained on the review side of the process. We would then review the results we had found and compare them to the results of the quality checkers to make sure the outcome was correct.

On the Home Retail Group project I was part of a busy administration team. My duties were to answer the telephone to help and advise customers with their PPI complaints. I would answer anything from 40-80 calls each day. I also had to take the complaint received and input all the data on this complaint onto a system so the review team could continue with the complaint. I had to input a target of 17 complaints per day, this could be very demanding and challenging on the days the phones were at their busiest, but I learnt that I worked well under pressure.
