Experience managing large, complex, multi phased engagements.Fiscal management of all projects assigned, to include profit/loss analysis, identification of potential budget overruns or underruns.Assessing risks to project or program and plans for mitigation or remediation.Able to operate within a heavy matrixed environmentProvide dotted line management of project team resources.Provide support to bids and proposals as neededWork closely with and serve as an extension of the teamAbility to perform Project/Program Management Reviews (PMRs) communicating project status, risks, financials to Senior ManagementIdentify client strategic business objectives, operational goals and assess ways to drive delivery and consultative services revenuesMap client environment (hardware, software, key application) and pinpoint gaps by conducting "opportunity analysis" engagements.Work closely with strategic service delivery partners, subcontractors and independent contractors Plan, organize and manage a project, or series of smaller projects or a definable piece of a larger program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements. Understand and apply the MedStar Research Institute processes and procedures.Understand and abide by the ISO 9001 policies and procedures.Projects managed are of moderate technical complexity, to include integrated HIT (CDS and PGHD tools), Data Center, and consulting services solutions. Perform resource scheduling with the resource manager and subcontractors as required.Monitor and track entire project lifecycle, leverage MS Project reporting tools and be accountable for overall project success. This includes full financial assessment and responsibility of project profitability.Assess client business and technical objectives, determine deliverables, evaluate risk and execute projects.
