Over 30 years experience in commercial nuclear power engineering and licensing.I've had a fascinating career in the commercial nuclear power industry and I've been blessed to have worked with many good people. My areas of expertise include configuration management, 50.59, 50.90, reportability, operability, license amendments, UFSAR maintenance and interfacing with the NRC. In addition to authoring numerous licensing actions at St. Lucie, I led the successful St. Lucie Unit 1 & 2 Extended Power Uprate licensing effort. More recently, as the Regulatory Affairs Manager at Oconee Nuclear Station for over 5 years, I led the RA team responsible for station licensing actions as well as compliance functions, including facilitating and executing NRC inspections and working with the NRC to address inspection issues. As I look towards my planned retirement in 2020, I am open to the possibility of part-time or contract work in the nuclear industry. I am especially interested in opportunities where I can apply my skills and abilities to projects that would allow me to work predominantly from my home.
