Served as the Project Engineer on a $20.5M progressive design build project for the Santa Ana Pueblo in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The 0.8-MGD Santa Ana Wastewater Treatment Plant included a new wastewater lift station and 3,000 ft of conveyance pipe-line to the new headworks facility, anoxic and aeration basins and membrane bioreactors, sludge dewatering, and all associated electrical and controls. Work also consisted of the conversion of an existing SBR basin to an aerobic digester, a new administration building and miscellaneous site work and buried yard pipe. My duties included process pipe detailing and procurement, subcontractor management, quantity tracking for self-perform mechanical installation, as-built drawing maintenance, startup and commissioning coordination, scheduling, submittals and RFI’s and quality control. I also served as the interim construction manager for the remaining 5 months on the project and coordinated all remaining subcontractor/self perform work while finishing the substantial/final punchlist. Project was awarded AGC's 2018 Construction Risk Partners Build America Merit Award, Utility Infrastructure Renovation Category and 2017 award for excellence in construction from the ABC New Mexico Chapter.

This project included replacing 6 clarifier mechanisms, building a new Aerobic/Anoxic tank, RAS Regeneration Structure and Equalization Tank. Work also consisted of the replacement of 6 existing RAS pumps, installing a new site drainage system, installation of a new sodium hydroxide/methanol filling station, renovation of the plant’s cryogenic structure and renovating the grit lagoon. My duties included submittal reviews, subcontractor management, as-built drawings maintenance, site layout, creating monthly schedule updates, coordinating start up between owner and manufacturers, coordinating daily work crew activities, electrical and mechanical equipment procurement.
