One essential objective of the role is to identify potential development opportunities for development via on/off market projects, through my close network of contacts or my own initiative.As an active member of the Chamber of Commerce (Leeds and Yorkshire) and the newly formed York Property Forum Steering Committee I am in constant contact with development opportunities and influential people. The economic climate at the height of the Credit Crunch made my position challenging as the need to manage stringent budgets, personnel and redundancies in a sympathetic, equitable and expedient manner was essential to ensure the Company could be restructured which I accomplished successfully.
