Lead Analyst for Connect at GMAC (owner and administer of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). GMAC Connect is a new business unit at GMAC focused on providing new products and services to help both schools and candidates promote themselves to each other and make a successful connection. As a Strategic Data Analyst for GMAC Connect, I support each individual function (GMASS, Businessbecause.com, The MBA Tour) by providing business and strategic analysis support. Key responsibilities include:- Providing ad-hoc analytical support through data mining, analytics, research, reporting, data visualization, dashboarding (Power BI), manipulating large complex datasets (Excel, R)- Development and presentation of reports and insights that include accurate, reliable, relevant and actionable information to provide direction in decision making at all levels of the organization- Identifying and building key operational metrics and assist in identifying action plans to drive business performance- Assisting in project administration and day to day operations across other GMAC units as needed

I managed, coordinated, and executed up to half a dozen simultaneous research projects for some of the world's most recognizable brands. I was involved in the project lifecycle from kick-off to the client presentation of final results - including questionnaire design, monitoring fieldwork, data processing and tabulation, analysis of results and preparation of final client deliverables. In addition to project work, I led various training modules for new staff, oversaw and delegated tasks for junior-level analysts, managed the company-wide proofing schedule for quality control, and offered higher level innovative solutions for more efficient company operations.
