Includes reagent and equipment restock through a Kanban system, disposal of laboratory waste streams including novel and hazardous compound disposal, laboratory equipment maintenance, sample dispatch and taking delivery of new samples and compounds, Aliquoting service consisting of FBS and other cell culture supplements, preparation of tubes and supplies for upcoming studies and general laboratory good housekeeping, for a total of over 40 scientists spanning wide areas of research across multiple labs in a complex matrix environment, managing expectations and relationships with both the customer and other key stakeholders.

Summer placement in a reasearch lab joining a researcher and PhD student. Placement involved liasing with companies to procure reagents and equipment, carrying out research into appropriate techniques and assesment of which techniques would best be applied to our research.
