Perform engineering and consulting services for various projects and clients. Typical projects include foundation design of transmission lines extending across hundreds of miles, roadways/transportation, solar power generation, vertical construction, and slope stability assessment. Provide guidance and direction for field investigations, perform engineering analysis/calculations, deliver geotechnical recommendations, and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams. Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, and budgets.

Utilize principles of soil and rock mechanics to investigate subsurface conditions and materials via geotechnical core logging and photogrammetry. Provide geotechnical advice and develop solutions to clients by putting acquired geological data into context. Develop the scope of work for proposals which encompass field investigations, rendering pit designs, and assisting with the report. Coordinate and supervise field investigations by serving as a technical adviser to junior team members and subcontractors. Assign laboratory regimen, and evaluate respective data for design recommendations, adaptations and modifications.

Planed and managed the installation of the mine-wide geotechnical monitoring systems. Coordinated with geotechnical consultants to ensure design criteria were effectively implemented and optimized based on operational performance. Developed geotechnical models covering mine geology, geological structures, rock mass quality, and hydrogeology while concurrently updating them through the collection, analysis, and interpretation of geotechnical data. Provided comprehensive and timely contributions to geotechnical reports.

As part of the Adjudications Section, responsibilities were to facilitate the promulgation of 'Point of Diversion' claims via interpreting parcel maps, carrying out field investigations, and composing reports that validate claimed water rights. Measured flow rates of such PODs to incorporate into the basin-range watershed model.Nevada Division of Water Resources, Carson City, Nevada}Itemized and systematized NDWR Dam Safety designs and correspondence in a campaign to digitize blueprints. Assisted a registered PE with inspecting and compiling budgetary quotes to commission refurbishment of high hazard impoundments within Northern Nevada.

As a short-range planner, I lead daily progression meetings over mine activity, planning scheme, and pit designs. Also utilized Modular Mining Systems to safely resolve disorder and improve cost controls, environmental impacts, and efficiency throughout the entire mining operation. In conjunction with being the short-range planner, I designed haul roads, highwalls and ROM leach fields.
