Supervisor over the maintenance department and manufacturing operations, including daily production planning, reports and scheduling of plant personnel.-Project engineering work for capital projects; designed a new process for our California plant location, including Auto Cad plans, scheduling or ordering all materials, training operators for production, cost and budget analysis.-Create, develop, write, and implement SOP’s and manufacturing procedures into manufacturing areas.-Update processing equipment to streamline and increase production capabilities and safer working practices.-Review and report on all quality issues in production as well as providing alternate sources of solutions for identified issues.-Implementation of quality traceability equipment.-Set up and implemented preventative maintenance program.-Perform routine maintenance/troubleshooting on equipment to minimize production downtime.

Global Tungsten and Powders, Plansee formerly Osram-Sylvania, Siemens-Oversee two areas in the production of Molybdenum powder from Molybdenum Tri-oxide.-Conduct literature and patent researches to aid in production optimizations and find newer technologies to reduce operating costs.-Conduct DOE’s for process improvements and production scale up from R&D design.-Completed capital projects ranging up to $100K and productivity savings projects up to $500K from material to energy usage.-Working with venders on designs for new equipment in which will reduce overall costs and improve safety.-Review and report on all quality issues in production including reports on competitive bench marking and customer quality issues.-Work with customers to help trouble shoot manufacturing problems once the powder is produced.-Creating and reviewing specifications for specified powder and packaging requirements and updating safety specifications.-Debug machine issues to minimize production downtime.; Transferred to the Towanda Plant in June 2007 which later became part of the Plansee Group-Over saw eight manufacturing lines to troubleshoot bottleneck situations to create maximum production with minimum downtime.-Implemented product improvement to help produce the best quality product.-Worked with vendors in improving raw materials.-Analysis of defects in production to minimize shrinkage and correct changes to correct any problems.-Developmental project work with full analysis results in a timely manor to help improve the overall product.

Sample prep and analysis of samples on a Perkin-Elmer 6000 and HiRes ICPMS instruments. Calibration of samples and instruments daily. Created test methods and validated them to cGMP standards. Analysis of data and completion of reports for customers.

Detailed metal analysis provided to outside companies ensuring low-level metal components in products.-Method development, validation for analysis work, and report writing.-Demonstrated troubleshooting skills when instruments malfunction.-Work responsibilities include: preparation of samples, internal standards, secondary standards, tuning instruments, and ordering standards.

Designed pilot plant for production of Bio-Diesel for batch reactor operations.-Provided design drafts for continuous production unit and training to lab group in analytical techniques.-Detailed analysis of bio-diesel product from bench top and batch reactor operations by GC.-Researched possible newer methods of production.

Visual Basic programming experience used in completion of a program to be used by the Air Education and Training Command (AETC).-Met with advisor regularly to gain feedback about project to find ways to improve and reduce non-essential items.-Programmed in Microsoft Visual C++ for encryption and cryptography.
