Hello !My name is Christopher Weeden ( known more as @smurfoudirtynyc ) . I am born and raised in New York City since 5/89 . I am a freelance artist ( illustrator , cartoonist , contemporary painter , and muralist ) that has been practicing art for over 20 years and graffiti / StreetArt for 15 . I'm very active in the lower east side as an artist and collaborator with businesses the last 6 years . I have done collaborations with brands and companies such as cheap Monday jeans , YouTube and Steve Madden to name a few in the last 6 years . I love helping develop cohesive and original concepts with everything from clothing to pizza and love conveying art that is not only Instagram worthy , but will also have a tone and message . I am born and raised in BROOKLYN NYC and specialize in everything visual in New York as well as with music detail. I have been djing in the city since 2011 in the lower east side of manhattan and Brooklyn ( bushwick , Williamsburg ) . I specialize in disco , funk and house music to place a relaxed but also party forward vibe that feels inclusive for everyone . I mix this with 90s and 2000s hip hop and alternative dance to make an experience that has been keeping the dance scene in nyc alive within the youth and the elder crowd to keep the bridge between us connected through music .
