This project-based position administers Test Now - a research pilot distributing HIV self-testing resources across Canada through CBO’s and private enterprises. My role is founded on capacities in project management, training, research, communications and public health. I also administer $200k+ in microgrants, evaluate proposals and animate workshops in project planning, research ethics and counselling.

My role at Habitat was to improve relationship development with external stakeholders and build systems for internal program evaluation and quality improvement. This project-based contract was founded on providing stability during major structural changes at this affordable housing agency.

My position at iHuman was to lead partnership development at the agency with additional emphasis on public and government relations and grants management. Over this time, I developed a strong trusting relationship with marginalized youth seeking one-on-one support and additional resources in addictions and housing - including intentional outreach with 2SLGBTQ+-identifying youth.My responsibilities included work placement supervision for students from the MacEwan School of Business. I also led communications through media relations, a relaunched website, annual report and strategic plan.

I led grants and contracts management at a major mental health services provider in Alberta - with a portfolio of grants and contracts of $10M. A key focus of my work was a successful $7M capital campaign.

I advised a social enterprise delivering public health, education and employment programming addressing the ongoing HIV/AIDS crisis in southern Africa. I also mentored leadership in strategic planning, communications and organizational culture. My role included intergovernmental relations with several foreign embassies to build sustainable funding partnerships.

I worked to build partnerships forwarding human services within inner city Edmonton. My main functions included media relations, creating online and print content, service design and proposals. My achievements included $72k in seed funding to launch a pilot employment initiative for newly housed individuals.

I managed a fundraising office specializing in campaigns for a variety of health, human rights and environmental causes. Improved performance during my leadership resulted in a further management opportunities in Australia.

Following three months of face-to-face fundraising, I was selected as manager of the Edmonton office in December, 2008. I managed a year-long campaign improving our fundraising results, increasing our staff from 5 to 20 and returning to profitability. My success led to an opportunity to manage the larger, Vancouver office.
