Exercises administrative responsibility for equipment, property, and training areas worth over $1.6 million. Assumed duties as the Battalion Commander in his absence.

Serves as the Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, Multinational (JIIM) Engineer Specialist and acts as the representative for the US Army Engineer School (USAES) multinational programs and activities. Responsible for developing, planning, gaining approval, and managing a corporate strategy to ensure the incorporation of international technical assets in USAES programs and products. Manages and implemented international doctrine development and standardization programs focusing on identifying opportunities for technical data exchange and cooperative development and procurement under the ABCA Working Groups, International Standardization Organization, NATO, bilateral or multinational Memorandums of Understanding and Agreement, and Data Exchange agreements. Heavy emphasis on industry and academia in the JIIM forum.
