Working alongside the Duty Worker within the Cannock Community Mental Health Team. We oversee and manage case loads during staff absence/ staff leaving and take calls with varying needs from crisis interventions to queries about next appointments. No 2 days are the same, working alongside a dedicated team of health care professionals making a difference.

I have been overseeing our 4 bedded adult male intensive area, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for 5 years after being given a promotion after 2 years of shift work. I work closely with the service users and the MDT, formulating person centered pathways through our rehabilitation service. This enables our service users to gain and regain everyday living skills. Giving them the tools for meaningful days and structured weeks and integration back into the community after differing mental health issues. I am involved in all aspects of their care, such as care planning, risk assessments, CPA's and ward rounds. My experience enables me to quickly forge therapeutic relationships with often vulnerable individuals, showing that I can be a good listening board for any mental health issues that may arise, showing empathy, often giving advice and coping strategies in line with their recovery. I have a good working relationship with external organisations and engage with families when service users permission is granted.

I maintained the group's database by liaising with Experian and cleansing and deleting where necessary. Ensuring good data practices throughout all departments are adhered to and discrepancies are dealt with through the correct line managers. The planning and implementation of the group's sales and after sales correspondence within the DMS (Kalamazoo Reynolds Power DMS). Drafting reports for ad Hoc sales and aftersales events and making full use of the DMS and its outbound correspondence and communication facilities. Email, texts and letters are all incorporated into the life cycle of the customer ensuring opportunities for up selling of products and services are maximized. Supplying accurate data analysis to directors and recommend changes to company procedures for sales and after sales. The writing of training materials and PowerPoint presentations for the procedures needed on the new DMS system and visiting dealerships to train both individuals and groups of employees
