In my role to date, I'm particularly proud to have managed the launch of one of PwC’s leading pieces global thought leadership, titled: Seeing is Believing - How virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are transforming business and the economy.The report predicts by 2030 VR & AR will;- contribute $1.5 trillion to global economies- boost UK GDP by 2.4%- enhance over 23 million jobs (0.66% of global workforce) With the support of my colleagues, we've designed an engaging and creative multi-channel promotional campaign with a global reach which included;- launch event and sponsorship of Learning Technologies Conference- online advertising- interactive website with embedded data explorer- post-launch blog and video series- internal communications, events and competitionsIt's the campaign that's had the strongest customer engagement in my career to date. We went above and beyond our ROI objectives too. The decisions I helped to make with my team and business stakeholders on what balance of offline and online channels to use were pivotal in the results we've seen to date. We even used emerging technology in the report (we embedded web-based augmented reality experiences in the report) which led to powerful, tangible engagements with our brand. A first for PwC and a market-leading example of augmented reality in the B2B space.
