As a Pathways Intern at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, I participated in three work rotations: ET30 Structural Strength Testing Lab, ES51 SLS Flight Software Test and Verification Team, and ES52 Science and Technology Projects Team.Brief Work Summary:+ Created an application for the Structural Strength Testing Lab to improve and parallelize the conversion of test data from a binary format to other file formats based on user inputs.+ Tested Space Launch System Flight Software against GN&C abort requirements producing five software test procedures. Worked with test stakeholders to ensure quality and clarity of tests through a multi-step review process.+ Developed an innovative machine learning model using a Support Vector Machine to detect anomalies in simulated SLS flight data as a technology proof of concept.+ Gathered requirements, created documentation, and developed code for a prototype, real-time embedded software that interfaces with star tracker hardware utilizing NASA’s core Flight System software framework for the Mars Ascent Vehicle (MAV) project.
