I was asked to act as a consultant to Flambard Williams and to oversee the sales operations of the company. I grew the sales team from 2 to 10 within the space of 14 months and ensured the staff reached their full potential.

During this period, I worked as a consultant for a number of independent companies. My role here was as a graduate trainee. I spent 6 months in 4 different departments, Compliance, UK Settlements, Accounts and UK Equity Desk. I simply picked up as much knowledge from each department which stood me in good stead for future opportunities.Along the way I processed trades, executed trades, matched UK Equity trades, analyzed contracts, listened to recorded lines to see whose trade was correct and learnt about the mechanics of running a successful brokerage.
