    My engagement came at a critical junction in the businesses' history and at a point in time where the business was primed for transformation.The initial focus was on setting the strategy to 2020 and redefining the 6-business line's USP and GTM. Once this was completed the finance function required a major reset along with the core systems of the business. The major transformational objectives achieved include the following:• Strategy developed and implemented through to June 2020• Capital buyback program, tightening up the share register• Overseas subsidiary closed due to non-performance• Finance team reset both in terms of skills and function• Replacement of two-thirds of the core business systems• Outsourcing and updating the IT function so that it is scalable at low cost• Optimising the working capital and creating flexible financing solutions to support business growth• Introducing BI dashboard reporting and refreshing the management and board reporting packs• Taking the business through its initial external audit• Reducing the operational cost base by 10% on like for like basis• Resetting the sale process and introducing a uniform approach to ensure underlying business performance is more reliable and simultaneously locking down significant IP in the businessThe business has experienced 60% growth in revenues throughout my tenure and with the transformational actions taken; now operates in line with industry leading benchmarks of financial performance.My role in transforming the business has come to an end.
