Primary focus was to manage all aspects of two PAKMAIL stores for a shipping company. Cold called on businesses in Memphis and surrounding areas to obtain new business and generate familiarity in the area. Obtained other leads from our websites, advertising through Google, TV ads, direct mailing and heavy networking. Hired, trained, motivated, and supervised a staff of two employees. Shipped parcels and LTL, both domestically and internationally. Assumed full P&L responsibility; created budgets and monitored expenditures. Additional duties included every aspect of a retail store from working with customers, arranging shipments including all logistics involved, to maintaining customer files

Responsible for 100% of all freight dollars of a logistics portfolio of $30MM+. Hired and set up freight deliveries for movement to final destination. Responsible for freight dollar accrual, keeper and interpreter of all freight contracts. Provided freight invoice, auditing and payments. Was the carrier relations liaison between the carrier and the company. Worked closely with the carrier to ensure correct billing; resolved all problems and issues.
