About Christopher Whittington

I am a third-year Ph.D. student in Materials Science with a background in physics and math. My Ph.D. revolves around working towards incorporating photon emitters with on-chip photonic components, such as photonic crystal nanobeams. This has required me to become proficient in optics, nanofabrication, numerical simulation software, component design, coding, and much more. To date, I have additionally mentored three aspiring undergraduate students.
