Throughout my career in law enforcement, I have demonstrated unwavering dedication, leadership, and expertise across various specialized roles.As a Motor Officer in the Special Operations Division from July 2013 to November 2022, I was entrusted with critical assignments, including serving in the Presidential Escort Unit where I provided security for POTUS, VPOTUS, and Foreign Dignitaries. My responsibilities extended to monitoring crowds and restoring order during the January 6th Insurrection at the U.S. Capitol in 2021. I proudly participated in four Presidential Inaugurations and managed security during peaceful protests and Civil Unrest/Disturbance incidents. Additionally, I operated within the Critical Incident Response Vehicle, ensuring readiness to respond to special events and active shooter incidents, and supported Emergency Response Team Units in managing hostile situations.From November 1997 to September 2012, I served as a Police Officer in the Fourth District, excelling in uniformed patrol duties focused on combating drug activity and enforcing traffic laws, including DUI/DWI enforcement. Notably, I provided critical support at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital following the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon and contributed to the DC Sniper Investigation while detailed to the Special Operations Command Center. My tenure included assignments with the Warrant Squad, CSOSA Probation and Parole, and the District Motor Unit, enhancing community safety through proactive enforcement and collaborative efforts during major events like the 2009 Inauguration.Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my professionalism, strategic thinking, and commitment to public safety. I hold certifications in Firearms/ASP, First Aid/CPR, and Civil Disturbance Management, and have received prestigious awards including the Departmental Congressional Gold Medal and multiple Letters of Appreciation for my contributions to law enforcement and community service.
