Working within the AdMaLL group in the Computer Science Department at the University of Sheffield. Research involves computer vision for long term and robust robotic navigation. AdMaLL: Advanced 3d Mapping and Long-term Localisation with semantics understanding and terrain assessment for robot navigation in gps-denied environments

A paid role within my University department which focused on aiding with open days and attracting students through outreach programmes. This involved giving presentations to prospective students on open days and going to UK schools to give interactive sessions highlighting what the department offers.

Placement year with Bosch Lawn & Garden researching and developing future consumer robotic lawnmowers. Main responsibilities included independent research projects, technical presentations and aiding team projects. During this year I succeeded in working on several impactful projects such as an embedded system with a display to debug sensor boards, creating multiple MATLAB scripts to aid in validating the manufacturing process and developing a novel algorithm which is current patent pending for the company.

A voluntary role within the University where I mentored new students coming into the department addressing difficulties they may face entering university life.
